I’ve spent a career in digital media, but my love for journalism started as a reporter for my hometown newspaper in Rome, GA. After graduating with a journalism degree from The University of Georgia, I realized I was better at writing code than articles, but still had a passion for getting great stories to readers in new ways. After helping launch websites for a few publications, I focused on building digital revenues for local media as their traditional business models were disrupted. More than 20 years later, the pace of change has not slowed and neither has my enthusiasm for what local journalism can do for a community. My wife and I love raising our two kids here in Tampa Bay, and I’m proud to work with amazing journalists who care about this special place.
